The Wild Earth Oceania Film Festival 2026 (WEOFF) Opening Premier is proud to feature the first non-UK screening and the Australian Premiere of one of, if not the most important film of 2026 “How to Live on Earth”, a visionary 2026 feature documentary directed by Fredi Devas, presented by Benedict Cumberbatch.

Chosen as the the Premier film to commence Climate Week in the Odean Luxe Leicester Square in London, this striking Global Film explores humanity’s vital connection to nature. Showcasing innovative, cutting-edge stories of how humans are learning to team up with ecosystems to solve major environmental challenges and secure a thriving future, this film breaks all glass ceiling on translating hope into a sustainable future for all.

WEOFF are delighted to bring this stunning film to Adelaide, Australia to celebrate our launch of Wild Earth Oceania’s National Expansion to Regional South Australia, NSW, Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland, and the Northern Territory.

The Opening Gala commences at 5PM with networking drinks at the historic Picadilly Cinema with a VIP party with formalities from 6:30PM.
